Baseball Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon lost against Red Bud back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Lebanon fell 6-2 to Red Bud.

Lebanon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicky Burger, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Lebanon dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Red Bud, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Lebanon will square off against East Alton-Wood River at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Red Bud, they will take on Varsity Opponent at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday.
