Porter came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Splendora Wildcats by a score of 3-1. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Wildcats are ranked 591st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Porter's record is now 11-2. As for Splendora, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Coincidentally, Porter and Splendora will both be playing Kingwood Park the next time they take the pitch. Porter will head out to face Kingwood Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Splendora will host them at 7:00 p.m. on March 11th.
