Basketball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

Seneca played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Eisenhower Knights 79-28. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-16.

Seneca lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jason Jagta, who posted nine points.

This is the second loss in a row for Seneca and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Eisenhower, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Seneca will finish 2025 at home by hosting Erie First Christian Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca's defense better be ready for this one: Erie First Christian Academy has averaged an impressive 65.4 points per game this season. As for Eisenhower, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sharon at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2026. The Knights will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
