Soccer Preview: Robertson vs. Cottonwood Classical Prep        
        
		
             The Robertson Cardinals's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on the Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Robertson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2  goals per game  this season.
 Robertson is probably headed into the  match with a chip on their shoulder considering Bernalillo just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  on Saturday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of  4-3.  Aaron Doss probably wasn't too happy after the  contest:  he scored  every single goal  for the Cardinals and still walked away on the losing team.
 Something new happened  on Saturday as  Sonnie Cruz saw his first action of the season, playing ten minutes against Bernalillo. Cruz made the most of the opportunity,  putting uptwo  assists. A few more games like that and  he might be seeing even more time going forward.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Cottonwood Classical Prep). They had just enough and edged West Las Vegas out  2-1 on Saturday. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Coyotes as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Robertson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-4.
