Volleyball Recap: Garces Memorial's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Garces Memorial rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the El Diamante Miners. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

While Garces Memorial might've won, it sure wasn't easy: El Diamante scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 25-20.

When it comes to explaining why El Diamante lost, don't look at Diamond Palomo. Despite the final result, she had 22 digs and one assist. Palomo is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Garces Memorial's win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 19-13. As for El Diamante, their defeat ended a 14-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 24-4.

Looking ahead, Garces Memorial will square off against Yosemite at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. El Diamante does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
