It was a proper cat-fight when Apex took on Millbrook on Saturday. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on three straight.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-8, 25-11.

Emma Ingraham paced Apex's offense, picking up ten kills. Ingraham got some help from Katie Raymer and her nine assists. Raymer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Apex's record now sits at 10-1. As for Millbrook, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7.

Apex didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Wake Forest on the 6th. As for Millbrook, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Holly Springs on the 6th.
