Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Point). They breezed by the Charles City Panthers to the tune of 70-31 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pointers as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

West Point's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-9. As for Charles City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Point will welcome King & Queen Central at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Charles City, they will be playing at home against Mathews at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
