Brennon Russell has led Wolfe City in receiving touchdowns on the season and he led the team again on Friday. Nobody could stop Russell as he picked up 80 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. He also hauled in two receiving touchdowns, which is notable because Wolfe City is undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Russell and Wolfe City will square off against Whitewright at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Tigers thanks in part to Russell: he picked up 94 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
