Recap: Carroll Academy Jaguars vs. Trinity Christian Academy Lions
This season hasn't been kind to the Carroll Academy Jaguars, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They were outmatched by Trinity Christian Academy on the road and fell 50-15. Carroll Academy has not had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Trinity Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mallory Arnold, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Hidrogo, who scored ten points.
Carroll Academy dropped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-16.
Carroll Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on January 31st. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they and the Rebels will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Tipton-Rosemark Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
