Basketball Recap: Surry County Comes Up Short

Surry County lost against Franklin back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Surry County Cougars were dealt a 68-38 loss at the hands of the Franklin Broncos. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Surry County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Franklin, they pushed their record up to 10-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Surry County is taking a road trip to square off against Windsor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin, they will host Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin is facing Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech at the right time seeing as Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
