Baseball Game Preview: Coronado Dons vs. Tempe Buffaloes

For the second straight game, Coronado will face off against Tempe. The Dons will be playing at home against the Buffaloes at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Coronado has given up an average of 19 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Coronado took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Tempe, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Dons sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-11 win over the Buffaloes on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Dons considering their one-run performance the game before.

Coronado's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-13. As for Tempe, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
