Volleyball Game Preview: Solorio Sun Warriors vs. Roosevelt Rough Riders

The Solorio Sun Warriors will take on the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Solorio took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Brooks by a score of 2-0. The Sun Warriors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Solorio didn't let Brooks take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rangers.

Roosevelt's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. As for Solorio, they now have a winning record of 10-9-4.

Solorio skirted past Roosevelt 2-1 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Will the Sun Warriors repeat their success, or do the Rough Riders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
