Thacher led Condor (8 Man) in scoring this week by notching 50 points on Villanova Prep. Momo Lewis threw for 39 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 25 yards in the win.
The Toads' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Jordan Augustus contributed 72 yards. Caleb Couturie helped Thacher's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 24 yards.
Augustus was a passing and rushing force as Thacher beat the Wildcats.
Augustus was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 72 yards on 3 carries as Jeff Hooper's team bested Villanova Prep. Reed Gulick-Stutz also contributed to the rushing game with 67 yards on the ground.
Thacher's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Toads feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Lewis has thrown for 576 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Ben Yih has 9 catches for 308 yards. Lewis also leads the league in rushing with 737 yards.
The marquee game in Condor (8 Man) this week will be the clash between Cate and the Toads. The Rams comes into the matchup ranked 11th in the state, while Thacher ranks eighth.
The Toads' offense has scored 332 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Cate has allowed only 231 on the year.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Benjamin Soto's team takes on Thacher. The Rams have allowed 231 points this season, while the Toads have given up 233. Cate allowed 55 points last week as it fell to Coast Union.
Augustus broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 63-yard run against Ricardo Olivares' team.
