Softball Recap: Cromwell Takes a Loss

Cromwell fell victim to Hale Ray and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 21-0 to the Noises. The match marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Cromwell has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Hale Ray, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cromwell will square off against North Branford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hale Ray, they will take on Haddam-Killingworth at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Noises surely won't give up without a fight.
