Volleyball Recap: University's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

University was the 3-1 winner over Resurrection Christian when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

University took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 22-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-9.

Delaney Lauer paced University's offense, picking up 21 kills. Lauer got some help from Kenley Rudiger and her 44 assists. Rudiger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

University's loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3. As for Resurrection Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. University is set to challenge their familiar foe Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Resurrection Christian will face off against rival Weld Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
