After losing to Monterey Trail the last time they met, Vista del Lago decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Vista del Lago came out on top against Monterey Trail by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Kai Kaminskas paced Vista del Lago's offense, picking up six kills. Kaminskas got some help from Bradon Karnes and his ten assists. Sunny Sah controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Vista del Lago's victory bumped their record up to 20-5. As for Monterey Trail, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.

Vista del Lago wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Christian Brothers on the 31st. As for Monterey Trail, they will welcome Elk Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
