Jackson-Reed faced Coolidge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Tigers came out on top against the Colts by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on six straight.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Jackson-Reed took both sets by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-9.

Taylor Simpson paced Jackson-Reed's offense, picking up four kills. Simpson got some help from Carys Gray and her eight assists.

Jackson-Reed's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Coolidge, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
