Basketball Recap: East Noble Extends Winning Streak to Three

East Noble waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Central Noble Cougars by a score of 49-37. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Among those leading the charge was Addison Deming, who went 5 of 9 en route to 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Rian David, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

Central Noble lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kaydintz Bales, who had 12 points. Grace Swank was another key player, putting up 11 points.

East Noble's record now sits at 9-6. As for Central Noble, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

East Noble will head out to face off against Angola at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Angola will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something East Noble surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central Noble, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Central Noble Cougars duke it out with the Bremen Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
