Soccer Recap: Faith Christian Comes Up Short

Faith Christian lost against Greenfield back in August of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots came up short against the Knights, falling 7-2. While losing is never fun, Faith Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while Greenfield are ranked 48th).

Faith Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Greenfield, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Faith Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 defeat against John Paul II Catholic on the 5th. As for Greenfield, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Wilson Christian Academy on the 5th.
