Softball Recap: Wake Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Wake Prep Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bunn Wildcats.

Wake Prep Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyndall Miller, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Wake Prep Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Bunn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Wake Prep Academy will head out to take on Franklin Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bunn, they will welcome Nash Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Wildcats' favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while the Bulldogs have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
