Volleyball Recap: Jaslyn Smith's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Dale County over Beauregard

Dale County's tournament run continued when they took on Beauregard on Saturday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Hornets. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Dale County lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jaslyn Smith, who had seven kills, five aces, and three blocks. She has been hot, having posted seven or more kills the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Leah Grace Snellgrove, who had five digs, three aces, and two blocks.

Dale County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Beauregard, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Dale County is taking a road trip to challenge Daleville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beauregard, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Wakulla on the 27th.
