It's playoff time, and Oviedo had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Lake Howell Silverhawks on Friday as the Oviedo Lions made off with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 11 games by four goals or more so far this season.

Oviedo is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those seven matches. As for Lake Howell, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1.

Oviedo will challenge Edgewater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Oviedo sitting on five straight victories and Edgewater on four. Lake Howell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
