Basketball Game Preview: Johnson County Central Thunderbirds vs. Southern Raiders

The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds will head out on the road to take on the Southern Raiders on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Johnson County Central can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Friday. They fell 50-45 to Mead. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Meanwhile, Southern ended up a good deal behind Palmyra on Friday and lost 54-35.

Johnson County Central didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Southern in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 55-50 victory. Will the Thunderbirds repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
