            Softball Recap: Nash Central Bulldogs vs. Princeton Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs  on Monday. Nash Central fell just short of Princeton by a score of  7-6. Nash Central was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Princeton apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in February of 2024.
 GRACYN KING put in work no matter where she played. She  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   four  hits. KING was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  RYLEE BREWER made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.  HALEY FRAZIER was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
This is the second loss in a row for Nash Central and  nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Princeton, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.
 Coincidentally, Nash Central and Princeton will both be playing Bunn the next time they take the field. Nash Central will head out to face Bunn at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday, while Princeton will  host them  at 6:30  p.m.  on  the 22nd.
