Estancia is a perfect 4-0 against Pioneer since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Estancia Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Pioneer Titans at 3:15 p.m. Estancia will be strutting in after a win while Pioneer will be coming in after a defeat.

While Estancia's victory against Los Amigos wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Estancia won by a run and slipped past Los Amigos 4-3. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Lobos: they've now won five in a row.

Athan Perez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Perez was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. That RBI was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jake Humphries, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Jacob Ramirez was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Pioneer didn't have quite enough to beat Palm Springs on Saturday and fell 5-4. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The victory got Estancia back to even at 2-2. As for Pioneer, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Estancia took their win against Pioneer in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Estancia since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
