Basketball Recap: Carmi-White County Takes a Loss

Carmi-White County suffered their closest loss since January 19th on Friday. They fell just short of the Hamilton County Foxes by a score of 50-48. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while the Foxes are ranked 94th).

This is the second loss in a row for Carmi-White County and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Hamilton County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Carmi-White County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-38 defeat against Benton on the 21st. Hamilton County has also already played their next matchup, a 60-55 win against Eldorado on the 21st.
