Softball Game Preview: New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool vs. Great Hearts Northern Oaks Griffins

The New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool will take on the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Griffins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in New Braunfels Thunder's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.

New Braunfels Thunder is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Lutheran just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 25-24. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on April 1st (16), the Homeschool still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 18 runs the game before, Great Hearts Northern Oaks was a bit more limited in their game back in February. They came up short against St. Anthony, falling 14-2. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Great Hearts Northern Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for New Braunfels Thunder, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
