Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hampton Park Christian). They really took it to the Lake Pointe Academy Mariners for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-41 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-11.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hampton Park Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trevor Gearhart, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 18 boards. Jack Gantt was another key player, going 9 for 21 on his way to 26 points and eight rebounds.

Hampton Park Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive matches.

Lake Pointe Academy lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being James Jacobs, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Stewart Settle, who had eight points.

Hampton Park Christian pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. As for Lake Pointe Academy, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-3.

Hampton Park Christian has already played their next game, a 71-37 victory against Oakwood Christian on the 24th. Lake Pointe Academy has also already played their next contest (against Westgate Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
