Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Union County beat Pendleton 53-47 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Christ Church Episcopal better keep an eye on Eric Gray. He was instrumental in Union County's win, going 8-for-15 to rack up 29 points and seven rebounds. That's the most boards Gray has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Akeem Shaw, who had seven points and six rebounds.

Christ Church Episcopal is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Union County, their victory bumped their record up to 15-12.
