Basketball Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

Phillips was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 56-37 fall against the Three Lakes Bluejays. The Loggers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Phillips' defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Three Lakes, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Phillips has already played their next contest (against Three Lakes/Phelps), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Three Lakes, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Watersmeet at 6:00 p.m. on January 15, 2026.
