Highlands waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They escaped with a win against the Ryle Raiders by the margin of a single free throw, 61-60. The 61-point effort marked the Bluebirds' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Highlands' victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Ryle, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Highlands will challenge Bishop Brossart at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ryle, they will square off against Dixie Heights at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
