Soccer Recap: South Sioux City Comes Up Short

South Sioux City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Platte Bulldogs. South Sioux City were not able to make up for their loss to North Platte from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

South Sioux City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for North Platte, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. South Sioux City will face off against rival Gross Catholic on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Platte is set to take on their familiar foe Gering at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
