Weldon waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 73-72 W against the Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Jaguars last Thursday, they had to take a 71-60 loss.

Rocky Mount Prep's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kobe Davis, who posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Rashyd Johnson, who scored 17 points.

Weldon's victory bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Rocky Mount Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Weldon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 74-46 loss against KIPP P on the 18th. Rocky Mount Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
