Volleyball Recap: Pearsall Takes a Loss

Pearsall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the John Paul II Guardians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mavericks of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Pearsall's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for John Paul II, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Pearsall has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Cole on the 15th. As for John Paul II, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fox Tech on the 15th.
