Recap: New Hanover vs. West Brunswick
New Hanover earned some more postseason success in their contest on Friday. They took their matchup against West Brunswick 21-7. Since New Hanover won the last time these teams met, too, this is only more fuel for the fire driving West Brunswick's future revenge.
They got scores from a handful of players including senior Chase Nixon, senior Jaheim Marshall, and junior Erasmus (razz) Chandler.
The victory was the ninth in a row for the Wildcats and raised their record to 12-1. West Brunswick's loss pushes them down to 10-2.
New Hanover will take on Gray's Creek in each of the teams' third playoff game on Friday. The stakes are high as both of those teams are all in, each fighting to extend its postseason success. West Brunswick's playoff loss brings an end to their season.
