Volleyball Recap: Kit Carson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against La Veta on Friday, Kit Carson came back down to earth. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Cheyenne Wells Tigers on Monday. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kit Carson's offense was headlined by Shay Rady and Avery Johnson, who picked up 11 kills apiece. The pair just refused to take it easy: they also led the team is assists, picking up 12 each. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Kit Carson's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Cheyenne Wells, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-9.
