Basketball Recap: Rossville Has No Trouble Against Mission Valley

With a playoff win on the line, Rossville rose to the challenge on Friday. They took down the Mission Valley Vikings 47-29. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 43-39 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2018.

Despite the loss, Mission Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kailynn Jacobson posted five points.

Rossville's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Mission Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Rossville will take on Wabaunsee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wabaunsee knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Rossville likes a good challenge. Mission Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
