Ellison snaps seven-game streak of wins at home

On Monday, Ellison came up short against Hammond Academy of Science & Tech and fell 57-49.

Hammond Academy of Science & Tech can attribute much of their success to Jaylen Ridle, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Ridle scored 15 or more points. Jeffrey Patton was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine rebounds.

Ellison's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-3. As for Hammond Academy of Science & Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.

Ellison will head out on the road to challenge Ida Crown Jewish Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hammond Academy of Science & Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Oregon-Davis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
