Baseball Recap: Junction Comes Up Short

Junction lost to Mason on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Punchers by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since April 1, 2025.

Junction saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jimmy Murff, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Junction has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Mason, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

As of now, neither Junction nor the Punchers have any future games scheduled.
