Basketball Recap: Calamus-Wheatland Takes a Loss

Calamus-Wheatland lost against Springville back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Calamus-Wheatland Warriors fell 61-54 to the Springville Orioles. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Calamus-Wheatland's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Springville, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Coming up, Calamus-Wheatland will square off against Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calamus-Wheatland is facing Midland at the right time seeing as Midland is stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Springville, they will face off against Iowa Valley at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
