On Sparks' side, Bailey Hunden made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk). Hunden has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Sparks got a massive performance out of Guadalupe Vega Rivera, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI.
