Baseball Recap: Rice Takes a Loss

Rice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against Palmer, falling 8-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rice of the 24-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Rice's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Palmer, they moved to 3-12-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Rice had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
