Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Cameron O'halloran and Caroline Ward Lead Bishop Verot to Victory

Bishop Verot had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past the Coral Springs Charter Panthers with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 67-49. The win was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on three straight.

Bishop Verot was led to victory by Caroline Ward and Cameron O'Halloran. Ward went 11-for-22 en route to 32 points along with six steals and five boards, while O'Halloran went 10-for-18 to rack up 25 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which O'Halloran has scored at least a third of Bishop Verot's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gwen Pfleger, who posted four points and seven boards.

Bishop Verot smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 11 consecutive matchups.
