Volleyball Recap: Grand Prairie Triumphs

Grand Prairie's tournament run continued when they took on Life Oak Cliff on Thursday. The Gophers came out on top against the Lions by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gophers.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Grand Prairie took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13.

Isabella Garza paced Grand Prairie's offense, picking up seven kills. Garza got some help from Jalesa Escamilla and her 13 assists.

Grand Prairie's victory bumped their record up to 3-0-1.

Grand Prairie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Conrad on the 16th. As for Life Oak Cliff, they will challenge Samuell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
