Estancia is on a nine-game streak of home wins, while Rehoboth Christian is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bears will welcome the Lynx at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Estancia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.7 runs per game this season.
Estancia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They beat Raton by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-6. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.

Jhenna Valencia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one double.
In other batting news, Estancia let Peyton Looper and Ana Cuevas run wild. Looper went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double, while Cuevas went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Looper has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Karina Villafuerte, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Rehoboth Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Eunice on Wednesday, taking the game 9-4.
Deiyanera Franklin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on 11 hits.
On the hitting side, Dominique Delariva and Shanoah Eddie did most of the damage at the plate: Delariva went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI, while Eddie went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs Delariva has posted over her last 11 games. Sage West was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
Rehoboth Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eunice only posted an OBP of .323.
Rehoboth Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Estancia, their win bumped their record up to 26-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Estancia has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Rehoboth Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Estancia's way against Rehoboth Christian in their previous meeting last Saturday, as Estancia made off with a 14-3 victory. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lynx turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
