Basketball Game Preview: Parowan Rams vs. Beaver Beavers

Parowan is 0-10 against Beaver since January of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Rams will head out to challenge the Beavers at 7:00 p.m. Parowan has given up an average of 54 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Parowan is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Kanab on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Rams had to suffer through a 73-13 loss at the hands of the Cowboys. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-8.

Meanwhile, Beaver is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Enterprise on Tuesday, but Enterprise came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Beavers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 win over the Wolves. The Beavers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Parowan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Beaver, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Parowan was dealt a bruising 49-14 loss at the hands of Beaver when the teams last played back in January. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rams were down 25-2.
