Piper won the last time they faced Turner and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates came out on top against the Golden Bears by a score of 2-0.

When it comes to explaining why Turner lost, don't look at Shyann Herring. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs. Herring has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Piper's victory bumped their record up to 3-9-1. As for Turner, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Looking ahead, Piper will square off against Olathe East at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Turner, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wyandotte at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday.
