Basketball Game Preview: West Fork Tigers vs. Thaden Barnstormer

The West Fork Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Thaden Barnstormer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for West Fork and five for Thaden.

West Fork lost 69-43 to Elkins on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while the Elks are ranked 49th).

Meanwhile, Thaden was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 43-38 to Providence Academy.

Thaden's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for West Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

West Fork strolled past Thaden in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 52-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Fork since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
