Football Game Preview: Grapevine Mustangs vs. The Colony Cougars + How To Watch

The Grapevine Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge The Colony Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grapevine is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Grapevine came up short against Burleson last Friday, falling 36-12.

The losing side was boosted by Jailen Holmes, who threw for 100 yards and one TD, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground.

Meanwhile, The Colony was able to grind out a solid victory over Burleson on Friday, taking the game 29-19.

The Colony's win came from a few key players Grapevine will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jaylen Gaines, who threw for 230 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 73 yards on only seven carries. Another player making a difference was Kendrick McClodden, who gained 126 total yards and two touchdowns.
