Smith came up big in Lockland's 15-14 loss
While Lockland might've come up empty on Tuesday, Jaylah Smith wasn't going down without a fight. Cincinnati Country Day had no answer to Smith as she went 4-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles.
Smith and Lockland will head out on the road to face off against Cincinnati Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lockland has some work to do to even out the 1-8-1 series between these two since May of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
